Yeah, but if Mu really did die, then that'd mean Kira's the only one who can escape death all the time, and that's not cool because Mu is so much cooler than Kira and should be the invulnerable man.

Besides, he did say he had a habit of making the impossible possible.

Okay. Not asking you to agree, but to me, it's not about who's being invulnerable. I like it as long as I find the story interesting. Although I wasn't too happy with Kira escaping death at the end of Gundam SEED, I accepted his survival because he's Ultimate (as well as the ultra-popular main character, which shouldn't have anything to do with it, but does).

Yes, I know he makes the impossible possible, but that's not such a good excuse this time round. It's just a tagline, and he doesn't have those Ultimate Coordinator strengths that Kira has. Surviving spoils his coolness because it makes him "Mary Sue".

In Gundam SEED Destiny, Neo had so much character potential, but it was completely underdeveloped and this fan is not nearly convinced that that man was supposed to be Mwu, and many fans would agree. This is a really popular complaint about the "sequel".

So, believing in this theory instead was really just to make myself feel better. Sad it has to be this way, I know, but I like SEED Destiny for other reasons, like the third ending. ;D
